Four Months

June 19, 2013

Dear Shep,

Today was your four month birthday and unfortunately you had to celebrate at the Pediatrician’s office. You are now 12.6 pounds (Mommy wont the guessing bet with Daddy) & 24 inches long. I can’t tell you how much it breaks my heart to see you cry during your shots, but as usual you were quick to forgive. I’m so very thankful for your constant smiles and giggles and  have so much fun watching you grow. You are starting to outgrow some of my favorite pjs that you have and I can tell that we will be moving up your diaper size pretty soon as well. I have so much fun watching you grow, but when you outgrow your things I get a little sad too. Packing up clothes reminds me that you will never be that baby again, but sliding your bigger ones over get me excited about the days to come. I love you Sheppard. You make me forget all about myself and take my focus to something so much more important. Thank you for giving me this magical life with you. I can’t wait to play for another four months with my best little buddy.

Xx Mommy
