Dear Shep,

They told me time would fly. I could have never imagined just how unexaggerated that statement could be. I am absolutely head over heels in love with the little boy you have grown to be & this month was nothing short of an adventure (aren’t they all?).

This month we celebrated your first Halloween where you dressed up not only as a fox but as Gomez from the Adam’s Family as well – and let me just say, you owned that mustache! You suffered through your first (and hopefully last) double ear infection & had Daddy and me up all night feeding and rocking you just like the newborn days. You are sitting up so well and have some killer fine motor skills. I can’t wait to see where your talents lie as your grow older! Bath time with Daddy is still your favorite part of the day. He has you laughing from start to finish which is more than I can say for the baths I give you in your ducky tub. Honey taught you one of Maggie’s cheers and you put the biggest smile on her face when she heard you laugh with excitement for over 30 minutes at it.

You are our heart and you keep us on our toes for sure. Promise Mommy you won’t crawl anytime soon! I don’t think I can handle how fast you are going to be moving around this house of danger! To do: baby proof the house!
