Dear Shep,

You had your first Popsicle today and you LOVED every last lick. Our favorite spot happens to offer all natural, locally made, pure as can be pops, so it seemed the perfect first sweet treat to dip our toes into. I chose strawberry for you you (I know, I know, you would’ve rather had apple) BUT you were in love with first lick. I’m so proud of you for eating it like a big boy, but less than proud of the little tantrum you threw when I cut you off after the top corner had vanished. I think your first dose of sugar didn’t need to be an entire popsicle kiddo…….(lesson #4, you can’t always get what you want). I promise we will take you back for more and each month I’ll even let you eat on it a little longer because I’m such a cool mom and all.
